The article is here.

  1. Facebook is censoring every news site that’s criticized police violence in Baltimore – even big name mainstream sites

  2. Facebook censorship and the inevitable increasing coziness of entities like Google with the Pentagon is a predictable yet disgusting scourge that seriously embitters all sentient beings.

  3. Apparently it was not actually intentional censorship at all: https://hyperallergic.com/203492/the-facebook-bug-that-many-feared-was-censorship/

  4. Yes, it was just another FB screw-up. Btw, the reason this blog’s url is louisproyect.org (and costs me $100 per year for the domain) is that posts from louisproyect.wordpress.com were being rejected as spam by FB. Messages to FB about this issue were completely ignored.

  5. In the past psychiatrists have been prominent in work with the CIA especially when they were doing experiments on brainwashing:
Consider this worthy Ewen Cameron: Donald Ewen Cameron (24 December 1901 – 8 September 1967)[1] — known as D. Ewen Cameron or Ewen Cameron — was a Scottish-born psychiatrist who served as President of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, American (1952–1953) and World Psychiatric Associations, the American Psychopathological Association and the Society of Biological Psychiatry during the 1950s. Notwithstanding his high professional reputation, he has been criticized for his administration, without informed consent, of disproportionately-intense electroshock therapy and experimental drugs, including LSD, which rendered some patients permanently comatose. Some of this work took place in the context of the MKUltra mind control program.

  6. Hi Lou,

When I tried to share that article, FB flagged it and asked me to identify the photos depicting chairs from a group of pictures, and then put it straight up. I gather it’s Risen’s byline that raised the flags?

    In solidarity, Harry
