I’ll take a minimal chance of being wrong by not watching the video and stating that neither Howie Hawkins nor anyone else mentioned capitalism. I’ve been at this awhile and know the Greens and other such lost “progressives” and “liberals” much too well. The Green Party threw away its Ten Key Values to become a trivial grabbag of this and that, and the US, the “left,” and the human species continue to travel the endgame road as physical and mental captives of the capitalist system.
I was right, wasn’t I? That there was no mention of capitalism in the video?
I’d love to take the Green Ten Key Values, which are all anti-capitalist values, and be part of organizing them into a grassroots movement of personal and social transformation, but the Greens never move beyond the politics of the “progressive” wing of the Democratic Party. And so the American people still lack a political party to represent their interests, and aren’t very interested, anyway. A triumphant, globalized capitalism–The System–has systemically, entropically eliminated the negation of the negation, and as matters stand, a human future has been foreclosed.
Thanks Louis. Putting this out is a real service.

The Greens needed to ripen, but rotted.
