So Botstein’s been in power there since 1975! What the hell kind of an institution is this? Let’s see. Botstein’s been the dictator at Bard longer than Stalin ran the USSR; longer than Mayor Daley ran Chicago; and, in the unfortunate event he lives a couple more years, longer than even J. Edgar Hoover ran the FBI. Prospective students should avoid this shithole fiefdom like the plague.

The fictitious character Barton Fink looks a lot less phony than the insurance salesman.

And just like Barton Fink, Botstein has no connection to the common man.
